Attitude
Life is all about having a good attitude. When I was 17 years old, I was working at A&W in The Gloucester Centre as a cashier. I made a sign to boost team morale that said, “This is a no baditude zone. Leave your baditude at home!” Obviously, baditude, a word I created, is a combination of bad and attitude.
I’m still a rebel but I’ve learned you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. My ex-best-friend, Robert Phung, taught me to suck up. I never really liked this concept as an 18-year-old, but that’s just because I had a bad attitude.
Growing up, lots changed. One of those things was my perspective. Now I feel lucky and blessed for getting to do things I don’t want to do, like putting away laundry for the millionth time. I just tell myself not to complain.
