Circadian rhythm

Circadian rhythm is an internal biological clock that governs our sleep-wake cycle and regulates many other bodily functions over a 24-hour period. It's influenced by external cues like light and darkness, and its disruption can lead to health issues.


I am ever so lucky to be working day-shift serving hours. I go to bed before it gets dark out sometimes in the summer and wake up as early as 4:30 am some days naturally. My schedule is rigid for work and I appreciate that. I need my beauty rest! 💤
