Androgyny 🫶

I wanted to take a second to talk about androgyny. Androgyny refers to the possession of both masculine and feminine characteristics, traits, or qualities, either in biological sex or in gender expression. It's often used to describe individuals who blend traditionally masculine and feminine roles in their appearance, behaviour, or personality.

I think I harness androgyny. The buzz-cut is a perfect example. I also used to paint graffiti, which is a boy’s sport. I think blending masculinity into my feminine lifestyle is beneficial to my growth as a human being. I guess I want to prove I can do whatever the boys can do.

I never liked gender roles. I have often done what the opposite of normal is. I used to be a bit of a tomboy, hanging out with a group of all-boys playing cards in the cafeteria an hour before school started (and beating them all)! 🃏
