Nate's house salad

I worked at Nate's on Sparks for a summer. On my last day, I asked the chef how to make the house salad. I looked it up and they have a different house salad now. 

Reggie's Nate's house salad:

red leaf lettuce

cherry tomatoes

red onion

cucumber

carrots

and the secret ingredient: walnut pieces, sautéed in maple syrup and hot sauce

Add a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, and boom: magic.
